"September: it was the most beautiful of words, he'd always felt, evoking orange flowers, swallows and regret."
~ Alexander Theroux
Come October and it will all be about spreading the joy - puja and its colourful air, glittering diyas and aromatic sweets, fat pumpkins and lovely pies.
And yes, bucket-loads of bright chrysanthemums and smiles galore.
And many holidays :)
ReplyDeleteHello Suman - what a lot you've been up to! Your trip through the west sounds marvelous. We once lived as far southwest as Oklahoma, but there was nothing even remotely resembling what you've described and shown.
ReplyDeleteOctober - I embrace it with open arms - a beautiful month of changing colours, open fires and falling leaves....and our Thanksgiving celebration.
Vyankatesh, that's the part we all love, isn't it?! Thanks for dropping by!
ReplyDeletePondside, hello hello! Yes, we've been quite tied up recently, with vacations and friends visiting. Can't say about Oklahoma, but a trip to the canyons of Utah is a must for every nature lover.
And for sure October here is the prettiest of all its sisters. :-)
