(Or just the carrot juice!)
In this black and white
sun-less land
I shall pretend I see it
everyday
through the veils of the mist
through the shards of the rain
it peeks and winks at me
a giant ball of citrine
flaming and fanning
sighing and seething
looming and languishing
but all mine.
A glorious photo that drew me in, then I was glad to stay a while and read your very fine words. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteSo grey here, with a sky that is low enough to touch. Your photo should be on an enormous billboard or spread across the side of a skyscraper, or perhaps on the sides of all the buses in town...........
ReplyDeleteYour photo is amazing! Thanks to your creativity, an everyday utensil(and the carrot juice) is beautified!
ReplyDeleteWho would have thought that carrot juice could be so inspiring, beautiful photo and words.
ReplyDeleteSharon, I'm glad you stayed! Thank you so much for your kind words.
ReplyDeletePondside, how I wish!! How do you come up with such ego-boosting compliments every time? Good for me anyway!
Celine, thank you so much for that thoughtful comment. I wish I got creative in this 'everyday' style more often.
P.K, many many thanks! I have become somewhat friends with carrot juice after this rather surprising shot. :-)
